Do you have an interest in the Civil War? Are you a Civil War collector? Do you like to read about or watch Civil War videos? One way to peak your enthusiasm is to participate in a Civil War Roundtable with other like-minded individuals.

A Civil War Roundtable is a non-partisan organization, whose purpose is to promote and stimulate interest in all aspects of the Civil War period, and to further the serious discussion and study of the conflict. Typically, a group of civil war enthusiast, both men and women, would meet once a month. Each month a different topic is discussed or a program is presented by a local expert.

There are hundreds of Civil War Roundtables throughout the country, large and small, from Boston to Dallas and many points in between; however the nearest to our community is in Austin. These forums stir the interest of the enthusiast as well as provide educational material about aspects of the “inconvenience” that may be unknown. It is a fun and interesting way to further knowledge and “keep the spirit alive”.
